FastSpring seeks to hire an entry level Java web application developer for the Issaquah, Washington area. You will play a key role in building and shaping the functionality of web-based stores used worldwide, and the back office user interface which manages them. Skills

  • Startup Mentality: Self-driven and able to quickly move in and out of multiple roles with ease
  • Technology: Solid mastery of Java EE, JPA, CSS, xhtml, JavaScript, Unix-based environments, and web browser debugging tools

Customer Support Representative

Job Description

Support customers purchasing software and services online, helping with questions/problems related to purchase process and delivery of products. Support requires proactive professional willing and able to provide quick, detailed responses to all inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Answering customer support inquiries related to order process
  • Track frequent support issues and help escalate those common problems to improve order process
  • Perform and complete other customer-related support tasks
  • Ability to expand responsibilities to include vendor-related support issues, such as store setup, ticket response and tracking, answers to technical and feature inquiries

Requirements

  • Excellent written and oral communications skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Internet protocols, Microsoft Windows and Macintosh OS X operating systems
  • Professional attitude and goal-oriented work ethic
  • Call Center or customer services/technical support experience a plus
  • Web-standards CSS, html skills a plus
